The University of North Alabama Foundation is an institutionally related foundation that was chartered in 1980. The purpose of the UNA Foundation is to support the University of North Alabama. Because the UNA Foundation is qualified under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, gifts given to the UNA Foundation qualify for charitable gift consideration.
