Testing Services

If you are not a currently-enrolled UNA student with a valid parking permit, please contact Kenda Rusevlyan at for parking information should you come to campus to take one of the tests we offer.

UNA offers you a variety of testing services, including the GRE , ACT , SAT , and PRAXIS . Information and registration for these tests are available on each test's website. Clicking on the name of the test will take you to the website.

If you took your GED test at UNA, you can call 800.392.8086 to obtain a copy of your transcript. More information about the GED can be found at their website by clicking here .

Testing through the University Success Center

Testing offered through University Advising Services is currently located in The Commons on the 2nd floor. You can reach this office at 256.765.4722 to find out more information about the tests you need. Click on the link to the test(s), if you need to find out the testing schedule. Some tests are given only at certain times and dates, while you must schedule an appointment to take others.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Registration: The CLEP tests are conducted by appointment only and you can schedule your appointment through University Advising Services by calling 256.765.4722 or stopping by the testing office on the 2nd floor of The Commons.

Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

Information: If you are applying to graduate schools in the area of education, counseling, English, nursing, criminal justice, and many others, you may be required to take the MAT.

DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST)

Alabama Educators Certification Testing Program (AECTP):

The Basic Skills portion of the AECTP must be taken prior to TEP. Students must have a passing score for all three sections of the test (reading, writing, and mathematics). Information about test dates and registration deadlines is available online at
