Thank you for visiting the CSIS homepage! We offer undergraduate degrees in computer science and computer information systems and an information systems concentration in the College of Business MBA program.

Our undergraduate computer science and computer information systems programs enable students to prepare for embarking on exciting and successful careers in business, industrial, and governmental work environments. Both undergraduate programs are individually accredited by ABET, the accrediting body for all computing disciplines.

Our graduate information systems concentration in the College of Business MBA program is designed to prepare students as leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully guide their organizations in a global environment. In completing required coursework, students collaborate closely both with faculty and with other students who are also looking to prepare themselves to make that “next step” in their career path.

Student majors in CSIS programs have the significant opportunity to engage closely with our faculty members for advice, support, and mentoring throughout their chosen program. CSIS faculty are proud of the numerous success stories of our graduates who have gone on to highly successful careers in professional work environments. With a dedication to full engagement with the required coursework, faculty advisors, and activities within the CSIS Department, the College of Business, and the university as a whole, students are positioned to join these alumni in significant and rewarding careers.

I believe that one of the strongest attributes of our programs is the continuing opportunity for you to build collaborative relationships with our faculty and other student majors as you learn and interact in a nurturing environment where the faculty member “knows your name.” In addition, our faculty has been very successful in ensuring that the curriculum remains current to meet the ever-evolving needs of the marketplace.

We encourage you to contact us so that we can explore the possibilities for providing you with an exceptional educational experience that will position you as a top candidate when entering a highly competitive job market. Thanks again for visiting!

We invite you to join us,
