Prescription benefits provide for 100% reimbursement of expenses for generic drugs with no deductible. Expenses for brand-name drugs are subject to a calendar year deductible and then are reimbursed at 80%. UNA's pharmacy benefit is a Point-of-Sale (POS) prescription plan.  Filing prescription cliams online is both easy and convenient.  Better yet, it ensures a speedier reimbursement, often in as little as three days!  Use this link to file an online prescription claim: https://www.bcbsal.org/pharmacy/index.cfm. If you prefer, you may submit for reimbursement through the mail using the Prescription Claim Form.
