Claudia Wells To Join 25th Anniversary 'back To The Future' Reunion

Claudia WellsFLORENCE, Ala. - Actress and entrepreneur Claudia Wells, well known for her role as Jennifer Parker, Marty McFly's girlfriend in "Back to the Future," will join Lea Thompson, James Tolkan and Bob Gale for the 25th anniversary "Back to the Future" reunion at the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival March 4-7 in Florence.

Wells was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and grew up in San Francisco, where she studied opera and dance, performing both for the San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Dance Theatre before turning her attention to acting. She studied at the famed American Conservatory Theatre. Wells earned co-starring roles in the 1980s comedy series "Off the Rack" and "Fast Times" and has appeared in such shows as "Family," "Simon and Simon," "Trapper John, M.D." and "Fame." Most recently, she starred in the 2008 Indie film "Still Waters Burn." Wells lives in the Los Angeles area with her son Sebastian. She owns her own clothing business called Armani Wells, located in Studio City. Other major celebrity guests who have appeared at the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival include Lee Majors, Rance Howard and Oscar winners Billy Bob Thornton and Ernest Borgnine. The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival is one of the few film festivals hosted by a university. The event was founded in 1998 by UNA alumnus and celebrated actor and entertainer George Lindsey. Lindsey's own film career has included several important roles, including the character Goober Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show."
