University Of North Alabama, Constellium Sign Learning Agreement

FLORENCE, AL - Officials with the University of North Alabama and Constellium have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will benefit all Constellium employees seeking any online or on campus, graduate or undergraduate degree from UNA.

"Constellium Muscle Shoals is extremely proud to partner with the University of North Alabama to offer this meaningful benefit to our employees," said Chris Smith, President of Constellium for the Muscle Shoals and Bowling Green, Ky., locations. "This alliance will increase all Constellium Muscle Shoals employees' access to high-quality and affordable educational resources and support the career objectives of our workforce. Additionally, it provides us with the opportunity to invest in our Constellium Muscle Shoals team, ensuring they are well- equipped with the tools they need to reach their professional goals with our business."

The agreement is effective immediately and will allow Constellium employees to take advantage of all programs, both online and on campus as well as graduate and undergraduate, at UNA, while receiving a tuition scholarship to do so.

"UNA is a proud partner with Constellium as this agreement provides the necessary and robust resources Constellium employees will want to take advantage across all of our educational levels," said Dr. Ross Alexander, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. "For UNA, this agreement solidifies our role as the workforce development leader in the State of Alabama, something about which we are very proud."
