Una To Host Graduation Expo For December Graduates

FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama Career Planning and Development office will offer a one-stop shop Sept. 28 for university students graduating this December. The event, Graduation Expo, will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the GUC BanquetHalls A-E.

The Graduation Expo will offer everything seniors will need in preparation for graduation. Students may order caps, gowns, rings, and invitations. The Diorama yearbook will be present to make cap and gown pictures. Career Planning and Development will be availableto help with resumes and job search preparation. The business office will help students finalize bills, and student financial services will be present to answer questions regarding repayment of loans and financial assistance for graduate school. Seniors can also register with the alumni office to begin receivingalumni benefits. Judicial affairs will help students clear records and holds. Graduate check sheets will be made available from the registrar's office, and graduate admissions will be represented to answer any questions regarding UNA's graduate programs. International Student Services will assist graduating international students withquestions regarding OPT/CPT and post-graduate plans. The University Police will be present to resolve overdue parking fines and similar issues. Refreshments will be served by Sodexo.
