FLORENCE, AL – The University of North Alabama and the Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce have recently signed a learning agreement that will benefit all full-time employees of Chamber member businesses who are interested in pursuing any online, on-campus, graduate, or undergraduate degree with a tuition scholarship from UNA.

“We’re so excited to have the opportunity to partner with the University of North Alabama,” said Pammie Jimmar, President of the Athens-Limestone Chamber. “We really value their commitment to training and educating our future workforce, while also providing valuable opportunities for employers to collaborate and connect with students. We look forward to working with them to better our community and support our future leaders.”

The partnership between UNA and the Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce is effective immediately and expected to benefit the more than 515 member businesses and their employees.

“It is fitting that the fastest-growing and most innovative university in Alabama will provide educational solutions for firms in the fastest-growing community in the state. I could not be more pleased with this partnership,” said Dr. Ross Alexander, UNA’s Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.
