FLORENCE, AL – Homecoming weekend at the University of North Alabama has been set for Oct. 11-12. Shine On, Gold has been selected as this year’s theme in honor of the ongoing comprehensive campaign to raise $100 million for the University.

In addition to the regular schedule of festivities, including the football game, parade, and reunions, the third Homecoming Alumni Celebration will take place Oct. 11 at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center. The Lions will take on Abilene Christian University at Braly Stadium, with the kickoff time to be announced at a later date.

“Homecoming is such a special time of year,” said Justin “Bishop” Alexander, UNA’s Director of Alumni Relations at UNA. “On campus, student groups have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and activities; UNA’s alumni and friends cap off the week with our annual celebration and full day of events. Homecoming just may be the best time to be a Lion!”
