Stevens, a longtime friend of George Lindsey, has spent more than 50 years in the music business, with a career that includes more than 25 million albums, 4 million videos and 11 Grammy nominations. His music spans the pop, country, rock and comedy genres and includes such favorites as "The Streak," "Mr. Businessman" and "Everything Is Beautiful." Stevens was the special guest of the George Lindsey UNA Film Festival in 2001. The 14th annual George Lindsey UNA Film Festival will be held March 3-5 in Florence. It is one of the few film festivals hosted by a university. The event was founded in 1998 in part by UNA alumnus and celebrated actor and entertainer George Lindsey. Lindsey's own film career has included several important roles, including the character Goober Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show."
