Spring Choral Showcase To Support Relief Efforts In Japan

FLORENCE, Ala. - All three UNA choirs will present an exciting and eclectic program April 26 at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in downtown Florence. The program, under the direction of associate music professor Dr. Ian Loeppky, will include works for full chorus plus organ and piano, with accompanists Jessica Nelson and Kala Kachur. The program will also include pop and jazz favorites from the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and highlights from the UNA Chamber Choir's Costa Rica tour program. While admission is free, donations will be accepted for American Red Cross relief efforts in Japan. For more information, contact the Department of Music and Theatre at 256-765-4516.
