Outstanding Graduates Honored at UNA’s Spring 2026 Commencement

FLORENCE, AL – Two dozen graduates were honored as part of the six University of North Alabama commencement ceremonies that took place May 8 and 9. The Turris Fidelis Key was presented to two graduating seniors, while 22 students received the Keller Key award.
The Turris Fidelis Key is awarded to a graduating senior(s) on the basis of outstanding service to the University as well as scholastic achievement. Recipients of this award are selected by a committee of faculty, staff, and students. This year’s recipients are:
- Eleanor Fitz, of West Columbia, S.C., who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She has a 3.97 grade point average, and
- Madison Hogan, of Hoover, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She has a 4.00 GPA.
The Keller Key is awarded at each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic standards while at UNA. Twenty-two students were honored for their academic achievement. They are:
From the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions:
- Sophie Marie Johns, of Summertown, Tenn., who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
From the Spencer College of Education and Human Science:
- Ethan C. Camfield, of Waynesboro, Tenn., who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. On a scale of 4.00, his GPA is 4.00.
- Bailey N. Cox, of Dora, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Elementary Education. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Juliana Skye Davis, of Hartselle, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary Education. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Kaylie Ann Gray, of Killen, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Teacher Education in Music. On a scale of 4.00, her GPA is 4.00.
- Cheney Dionne Suggs, of Lexington, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary Education. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Averie Joy Yeager, of Millington, Tenn., who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary Education. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
From the Sanders College of Business and Technology
- Charles Jerome Bainter, of Helena, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. On a 4.00 scale, his GPA is 4.00.
- Liam Paul Hemming, of Hartselle, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management. On a 4.00 scale, his GPA is 4.00.
- Madison N. Hogan, of Hoover, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Selma Julie Anna Robinson, of Mölnlycke, Sweden, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00
- Malachi James Shadden, of Eva, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. On a 4.00 scale, his GPA is 4.00.
- Alondra M. Vargas-Ramirez, of Madison, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Management. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
From the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering:
- Brianna Kathryn Benson, of Florence, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Kylie Mae Brewer, of Mount Pleasant, Tenn., who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Sarah Catherine Hatley, of Mountain Brook, who graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Aydin Christopher Horton, of Florence, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. On a 4.00 scale, his GPA is 4.00.
- Ella Catherine Mason, of Odenville, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Events Management. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Carrina G. Stewart, of Madison, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Events Management. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
- Brooks Hayden Wester, of Springville, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History. On a 4.00 scale, his GPA is 4.00.
- Ravyn Leigh Miller, of Rogersville, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. On a scale of 4.00, her GPA is 4.00.
- Lexie M. Stucky, of Estillfork, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. On a 4.00 scale, her GPA is 4.00.
