FLORENCE, Ala. - The Department of Communications at the University of North Alabama will celebrate First Amendment Month beginning next week with the display of Liberty Wraps, created by five different registered student organizations to showcase how the First Amendment has impacted their organizations. The Liberty Wraps will be displayed in the Guillot University Center beginning April 11. The basic rights guaranteed by the First Amendment are the focus of a month of activities hosted by the UNA Department of Communications and sponsored by a Liberty Tree Initiative grant from One for All, Freedom House and the Newseum. For more information about the Liberty Wraps or any other First Amendment Month activities at UNA, contact the Department of Communications at 256-765-4247.
